<font face='Arial'>Hi,FYI
Symptom:
On opening the Manage Sites dialog box, DW8 would lock up and exit.
Things tried:
I deleted the Configuration, the Site Caches, the Registry keys referring to the defined sites, uninstalled DW8, cleaned all traces from the registry and re-installed (with 8.02 patch). No change: still crashed.
Finally did what I should have done from the start and cleared out all other software that was running at the time: discovered that Skype was the culprit. No Skype, no problem.
Hope this is of some help to others.
Regards
Steve

You are quite right... even a year on!
But you don't have to unistall or switch off SKYPE you jusr have to go to connections on SKYPE and untick the box which says "Use port 80... etc"
The Manage Sites will open as normal then.
Ciao
