this is really bugging me. i *have* to use dw mx 2004 at work (i use just vanilla mx at home - better interface, no problems with attached css being 'disabled' when previewing in the browser at preview time, doesn't crash with no explanation... i could go on) and this problem will just NOT go away.i create a table 1 column and 2 rows. in the 1st row i type one word. this code is generated:
<pre id=code><font face=courier size=2 id=code><td>text</td></font id=code></pre id=code>
in the 2nd row i type multiple words. this code is generated.
<pre id=code><font face=courier size=2 id=code><td>this is some text </td></font id=code></pre id=code>
why is there a space after the word 'text'?! not only is it messy and unnecessary it's ruining my current layout!
if i type my sentence and then hit 'backspace' twice and then type the last letter of the sentence again, no extra space. far from ideal though.
why is mx 2004 doing this?

I don't knw why it does it. But i don't see how a space ( <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> is breaking your layout unless your text doesn't fit the tablecell or is 2 long which you should cope for.

i know, i know - i'm just being picky! it doesnt 'break' my desgin as such, it's just annoying when i didnt spot it happening and then couldnt work out why my pages didnt look as expected when i previewed them...
it's odd - i've always been a big fan of dw but this kinda thing always makes me feel a little bit let down. and i gotta say, i still love plain old mx version!
