Hi there. Im running Windows XP SP2 home with Studio MX/Dreamweaver 6.1. Recently I had a problem with Fireworks and reinstalled. This corrected the prob with fireworks but since then Dreamweaver will not run. The splash screen appears but thats it. Everything else runs fine ( Fhand, Frwks, Flash). I tried several uninstall/re-installs but no good. Also tried several system restore points, run multiple spyware and virus scans -but still no good. Also tried creating new user accounts but still no dreamveabver. Software has installed fine on other computers and I am currenlty getting by on this PC having downloaded 30 day 8 trial.
Any ideas what I can do to restore Dreamweaver 6?

Well in answer to my own question the solution was actually fairly simple. Export the HKLM & HKCU /software/macromedia/dreamweaver 6 key values from the machine with properly working dreamweaver and then import them into the registry of the machine with the non-working Dreamweaver and - IT WORKS AGAIN!
