I'm pretty new at designing web pages. I have been trying to design a site that can be easily updated using the dreamweaver template system. I also want all the javascript to be in externally linked files. I have a menu that has 4 items. Each item has a rollover state. 2 of the items also have pop up menus. Everything works fine until I try to link to an external javascript file. At the point when I remove the javascript from the page and have it linked exterrnally, the rollovers do not work and the pop-up menus quit too. I have looked at the activity window in my browser when I test the page in safari and firefox. It seems that the .js files are being linked, just not functioning. Please help and any other advice on making a page that is easily updatable site-wide would be much appreciated. Thanks
