Studio MX problems

I purchased the Studio MX 2004 when it first came out. I have experienced virtually no problems with its use until very recently. Suddenly whenever I attempted to open any of the programs I receive the message that one receives when using the trial version of the product. When I try to insert my serial number, it goes back to the trial message board. The program allows me to open the trial version but obviously the days are counted down. I have tried to reach someone at Adobe to assist me but their on-line and telephone support system is horrible. I either cannot get through on telephone or my emails are ignored. Thanks.
