Is there a way to accomplish this without buying DW extensions? If not, whats the recommended extension? Thank you.

It is possible to code this but I would not recommend doing so.

I tried a few times but then finally gave in and brought Pure Asp Upload.

It is a truly brilliant extension and can be used in site after site.

My honest advice would be to purchase it.
