These tables align perfectly in I.E. 6.0, but not in Mozilla or Netscape

I need a centered 700px table
A 400px left column, text aligned top,left.

I have tried all the possible table configurations, but all the same results. It appears once the table extends past 10 paragraphs or so, it then misaligns. So my pages jump left and right depending on the length of the page. ????
