Hi all,I have a problem which may have a simple solution, I just am having great difficulty finding it. I have been working on a website with dreamweaver mx 2004 using ASP javascript and an ms access database, and I am now interested in switching to coldfusion and mysql - mainly for the functions coldfusion supports that ASP does not. The website is hosted on a remote server that claims to support coldfusion mx. Here's the problem: I can't create the database connection in dreamweaver with coldfusion because the server refuses to give me the RDS login. I can't figure out a way to get around this - the support team keeps telling me to just create a DSN in dreamweaver, but as far as I can see there's literally not a way to do that once coldfusion has been defined as the desired server technology. Without the RDS login I can't create a data source, and without a data source I can't create web pages... SO - does anyone know how to create a DSN in dreamweaver with coldfusion? Alternately, is this just impossible and am I wasting my time?
Thanks for any help that can be offered!
