<font face='Arial'>Dreamweaver Brains,
I have an issue where all terminals are Windows Thin Clients connecting to a Linux Web Server. I am attempting to set up a site using templates where my non-web scripting friends can edit the contents of their web site. The website root is available through a mapped samba drive... let's say "G:" drive.

Is there a way to configure the site/template so that:
a) when sites are published the links will change from "file:G:|||styles.css etc" to /styles.css (from outside the Dreamweaver site).
b) influences outside the dreamweaver site (e.g. corporate_styles.css and corporate_banner_print.js) are visible (but not editable from within the design view.

Any suggestions or Ideas are much appreciated. Unfortunatley I am limited as to I cannot install any extra features onto the windows systems, however I may be able to change linux settings. Also I am unable to move the files within the directory structure.
