Ok I am creating a template for my site in photoshop. I have it sliced. Some text is added in photoshop. But I need to know how to add atable to the slices once I am in DW. How do I make a particular image the background since I am sure that is what needs to be done.

ok i am gotten the background set as the template image. My problem now is I get my tables set up just how I want it but I start adding text and images and preview it in IE and Firefox all of the formatting seems to of gone out the window. I am not sure how to use CSS to lay it out.

Any help would be very apperciated. here is my template so you can see what I need. the center will have two columns. Along with the recent order section and the two rounded rectangles. The white under the header is where I will add my page links. the bottom red strip will have three equal sections as well. I am not asking someone to lay it out for me just some idea of where I want to go.

I'm not really the person to assist you with this as I rarely use the Template function and I never use sliced image layouts. Few points however:
Don't trust the document view in DW, it's not a WYSIWYG (though it tries). Always work to how it looks in the browser from the start.
Make sure that you use fixed measurements for your table and cells - if you want help with this you'll either have to give a URL to your site/page so that people can view it or post the code for the tables - I'm not sure we got too many mindreaders around here <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>.
Looking at your GIF it seems to me that you site is an ideal candidate for CSS (slice 'n dice is soooo 20th century). Have a look at this tutorial/presentation leftjustified.net/site-in-an-hour/ for a good overview of how it works.
Look here for a range of different CSS layouts www.glish.com/css/#techniques
As for rounded rectangles (without images!) try here www.html.it/articoli/niftycube/index.html

Hope this helps.
