Hello All,

I'm very new to Dreamweaver (today is day 1!) - anyhow, I've created a very basic website here at the office which links nicely to a number of external sites. So, I'm up and running......

However, it's easy linking to www.abc.com - but how do I link to another server or location in my network so that users can get a full directory or folder listing? In Dreamweaver I can create a link to a file on a remote server e.g. \\Server\Files\mydoc.txt - but how do I link to the folder 'Files' and view all the content within this folder within the webbrowser?

I have several hundred Gig of files on one server which I would like to make available to some of my users remotely via a very simple web interface, but do not want to run IIS on this server. All I want to do is run a basic website which points or links to the top level folder structure, where the users can traverse the tree down to the required file and download it. Preferably with read-only access, so that they can get the files remotely. I do not want to create individual links to each file - it would take forever!

Hope it's a simple request and somebody can help me,
Kind Regards,

Mike
