hiya,

First i should let you know i don't know about coding or anything like that, i just used the wysiwyg part .. so please excuse my ignorance if these questions seem a bit basic lol

I used dreamweaver mx to set up an online store. It is just a htm site, with images, descriptions, prices and a buy now link to my 'remote basket' basket and checkout. The wholesaler i use supplies csv and xml files of new, old, discontinued stock etc for use in our sites.

What is it that i need to learn/where do i start, to be able to use these files. I know i will have a lot of learning to do, but am willing to do what it takes to get this site running as efficiently as possible.

Also, will i need a new hosting account ? The one i have now says:

supports the following coding languages:

* HTML
* SSI (shtml)
* CGI/Perl

does NOT support:

* MySQL
* MsSQL
* PHP
* ASP
* JSP
* .NET

Is the new stuff i want to learn included in the supported or not supported ?

As you can see from the last question, I really dont have a clue and need to start at the beginning. Any advice you could give me would be great.
