I'm new to Php-MySQL and am trying to create a 'contact directory' page, which will display records based on hyperlinks that users click to see a specific category of contacts. This category is defined by the content of one field in a table... (in a mySQL database I created)

I know this is a very basic question, but I'd appreciate some help. A non-dynamic version of this directory can be found at www.interfaith-center.org/Projects/Oxford_Directory/index.html But on this old site, each result page was seperatedly coded in html - which is certainly unneccessary.
