i've built 5 pages and have links on the left hand side. i want the unvisited links in white and the visited links in blue. when i press f12 to check progress, my links seem to be blue or white with a blue underline. i've checked the page properties for the links and they seem to be how i want them.

Your cache memory could be causing this. If you clear your history and try it again...this might be help???
