I create an image in FW (.png, .png) import into DW8 as a tracing image (using the modify--page properties-tracing image) I see the tracing image as expected in DW8 but am unable to adjust the opactiy. I noticed that there is a 2-pixel black line that appears at the type of the image file I am importing. It is clear that DW8 reagrds this as the tracing image because I am able to adjust its opacity. I do not see this black line in the file I am exporting from FW, the code of DW8, layers in DW8, or any other location I have tried....it looks like a spacer image of some sort ...but I have no clue what it it or how to get rid of it ....What is this line? ...how does it get into DW8? ..and how do I get rid of it?

Weirdly is right....I just discovered...through tried and true "trial and error"
that images I use for the tracing imgae that are <1020 X 760 will work
(no weird black line--and I can adjust the opacity) ...images sizes of 1024x768 will import as a trace image ...but I get the weird black line and cannot adjust thje opacity...
MacOSX 10.4.6
Power PC G4
DW8
Anybody know the reason for this?
