Try this:

www.webthang.co.uk/tuts/tuts_dmx/rob5/rob5.asp

if that is not what you want, then google your question and you'll find many resources

If you have a IIS Windows Server, then the natural choice would be ASP and MS Access.
In terms of dreamweaver, yes, you have to select the server type you are going to work with to user server behaviours. In your case would be ASP.

Do a search man, you'll find a load of resources for setting-up and using ASP and Access.

Regarding your webhost, I guess you have to pay, unless you have access to a free webhost. In the meantime you can develop in your local machine.

Thanks Javier for your replies to Peter. I have found them helpful. I am using Dreamweaver MX and have set up a login page using .ASP and created a database in MS Access. Everything seems to work well - except!! When I open the index page for my website and click on the link for the members login page the login.asp page comes up as a run/save dialogue box rather than a browser page. Why? and what do I need to do to get login.asp to behave like an ordinary webpage? Thanks anyone.
