I want to create two recordsets. Let's say the first one is file types, then I only want to second recordset to show what files there are that are associated with that particular file type. I know how this works in SQL, but I am having trouble in MX using an Access DB.-Thanks,
Art

You can do this by selecting the fields you want to show.
1. create recordset and pict the fields you need
2. do your simple or advanced query
3 test if your query works if yes press ok.
4 from your binding panel , expand your recordset and click and drag to your page the items you want to display. or use the applications menu to create a dynamic table or insert, update, etc.
Good luck.
