I recently installed IIS onto my laptop. I have not been able to test my dreamweaver intranet site using the live data view. When I try to do this I get an HTTP error 2. It says there are two possible reasons for the problem.
1. the .asp files are not being executed by the testing server.
2. The C:/Inetpub/wwwroot/Recipes/ folder does not map to the localhost/recipes/ URL on the testing server.

I have tried many different fixes and nothing is working. Any ideas? Thanks for any help on this.

did you set your IIS to serve ASP files? and give the permissions it needs?
In your IIS Go to Web Service Extensions and enable Active Server Pages.
