Ok
First off I am using Dreamweaver 8
Second I am trying to teach myself this through the following tutorial www.webthang.co.uk/tuts/tuts_dmx/Dmxf_1/dmx1_3.asp

Now when I get to point 15 in the tutorial and try to create the DSN I keep getting an error everytime I click the test button. The error is as follows "An undidentifed error has occurred" This expalins nothing and is very frusterating. I have tried everything from erasing the entire site and starting over to trying to setting up the DSN again in the ODBC Data Sources. If anyone can help me it would be awesome.

This is driving me crazy.

I as you are, had many troubles working with DNS and ODBC. I would suggest for you to change your approach and try working with dns-less connections, nuch easier.
