Could you please tell me how would I copy files from live website to my hard drive. I was asked to do an existing website but that person did not give me any of local root files. It is on that person's hard drive. I am using a different computer. So, how would I copy all files from our website to my local hard drive. I do have all the password and login information. Please let me know.

log onto the server throught FTP,

then simply transfer the files over to a folder of your choice on your local drive.
