Dreamweaver 8, MySQL, PHP.

When attempting to create and test a MySQL connection from Dreamweaver and have the dialogue box list all the databases for me I am getting "An Unidentified Error Has Occurred".

I'm wondering if anyone can help me with the entry that I should be making in the dialogue box when it asks for MySQL server.

I have tried - the ip address of my site (unlikely I know!), mySQL + my domain. I have been in contact with the hosting service but I now realise that I need to move away from them quickly!

I'm confident that the user ID and password entries are correct as I use these in other areas (php code etc).
