I just cant figure this out... Flash MX Pro 7 > Im trying to make a button that is a mouse. And when you click on the left button on the mouse it goes down and sends you someplace. And when you click on the right button it goes down and sends you somewhere else. But I cant get it to work. Its either only the left one goes down or the right... Does anyone know how to do this?Replies

i usually do it all in the 'over' state of the button instance. you know where you have the 4 frames when you convert to a button in the timeline.
i'm not gonna go into how it's done as there is millions of pages out there dedicated to this stuff
www.flashkit.com for example, and many others.
but basically, you make a button symbol out of the left portion of the mouse, then create a movie that will look like the button is being clicked.
add this to the 'over' state keyframe, and then add your actionscript to make it do whatever you want it to do.
