I am using the filter in asp code. It gives the error of ADODB.Recordset error '800a0bb9'
Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another.
Why?
I am extracting value from the data base by the following quey
select * from advsearchView asv where (asv.expertise like '%Ingersoll%' or asv.func like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.city like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.degreeinst1 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.degreeinst2 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.degreeinst3 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.degree1 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.degree2 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.degree3 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.language1 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.language2 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.language3 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.currentcomp like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.precompany1 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.precompany2 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.precompany3 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.precompany4 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.precompany5 like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.primind like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.country like'%Ingersoll%' or asv.profile like'%Ingersoll%')
After geting the recordset I ahve used the
rs.filter="expertise like %Ingersoli%"
Now records display
<font color=green>rs.filter="func like %Ingersoll%"
</font id=green>
