Hi,

I know that the nl2br function exists and I can use it from a textbox to my database and back again, displaying in both html and textbox successfully. My problem lies in maintaining the spaces I have. My database (MySql) field is of type text. So if I typed :

I am stuck
with a problem to do with
spaces

It comes out as:

I am stuck
with a problem to do with
spaces

Any help?

Ok the same problem exists with this forum.<img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

The first exmaple should of looked like this

I am stuck
______with a problem to do with
_____________spaces

But the _ is equivalent to a space.
