this is the error: 1045 Access Denied for user 'user'@'localhost' (using password : yes ) when trying to setup dreamweaver mx db access

could be a whole heap of things but all usually related to either a) you are using the wrong username or password or b) the user does not have permission to preform the action on the database. Which database are you using?
