Send HTML not working on WIN2003
22 Nov 2005 19:05:54 Wim Conix posted:
Hi,We recently upgraded our servers to Windows 2003 Server - Web Edition.
Since then, I'm no longer able to send html with SmartMailer.
Before, running XP PRO & Win 2000 everything was working fine.
I'm getting following error :
msxml3.dll error '80072efd'
A connection with the server could not be established
/image-belle/ScriptLibrary/incSmartMailer.asp, line 1161
I search the internet everywhere possible, but didn't find a real solution.
Can anyone help please ??
Thanks very much,
Wim

When moving form NT to 2003 most common problem by sending mail is the change of CDONTS to CDOSYS.
Maybe you should write a manually code to send an e-mail with CDOSYS. When that works you have tackeled the problem! <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Rene,
I'm using SmartMailer and this extension seems not to support CDOSYS.
Problem is that I have not the slightest idea of how to begin to write code for this myself.
Any suggestions/tutorials/... ??
Thanks,
Wim
