I cannot find a step by step instruction in the "Help" pages to build an ASP form to view and edit membership data from a database.

I have a log in page and I have built an "Insert Record" form. I have proceeded through:
Insert > Application Objects > Update Record > Record Insertion Wizard > made all my choices including the [MemberID] field as the unique field.

This produces and error message:

"Please choose a unique key from the selected recordset"

[MemberID] is a unique field. I have also tried with [Username] and [PassWord] both of which are unique. These produce the same error message.

Thanks,

Robin Chapple

For anyone searching for the same issue, I resolved this by removing and recreating the affected recordset.

Thanks,

note this seems to related to initial recordset not having unique key so therefor DW couldn't determine it
