I'm now using Dreamweaver MX and am thinking of going to Flash. I know nothing about Flash and would like to include video and motion on web pages. Since I'm new at this, I don't really understand the differences between the Basic and Pro versions from the data sheet posted on the Macromedia site. I'm buying this myself so the $300 difference is significant. I realize I'm not giving much info since I don't even know what to ask, but is it worth it for me to go with the Pro version?
Thanks,
Rob

the pro version is aimed more at developers who use the components and actioscripting language.
pro may be better for you if you want to get into video. i've never used the basic version so i can't say what's missing.
