i have problems displaying web pages designed by Dreamweaver MX 2004 in Firefox, where as everything works fine in Internet Explorer. Is there a Firefox fix available for Dreamweaver MX 2004.

I looked at the both through IE and Firefox and I didn't notice any problems.
What exactly are you seeing as issues on your end?

PS - Make sure you have upgraded to the latest version of Firefox... 1.0.7
