I have been using ASP on my laptop for the last year or so, but suddenly I cannot make any connections to sites or made changes to my existing ones....... a

I have not changed anything in my laptop and have no viruses.
any ideas?

check add/remove programs > windows components. and make sure IIS is installed.

why cant you modify an existing one? are the files there?

Do you mean that the dreamweaver site definitions have dissapeared and thats why you cant get to your sites to edit? If so that is exactly what happened to me (more than once) I've no idea why it happens. The actual sites dont go anywhere but you have to redefine them in dreamweaver.
