Save Error in Dreamweaver
06 Oct 2005 23:52:54 Tony M posted:
I am getting the following error everytime I save a file in DW2004:While executing onLoad in tempURL_afterSave.htm, the following Javascript error occured"
In file "tempURL_afterSave;
ReferenceError: afterSave is not defined
It doesnt effect the file being saved, everything seems to work properly, the message is just getting annoying.
Thanks

Here is a fix:
"do a search of your local system for the file tempURL_aftersave.htm and
in_afterSave.htm. You will find them both as they are not suppose to be
their
but will remain if DreamWeaver crashes as some point and does not clean up
the
files. Once you find them on your local machine simply delete the files.
Dreamweaver will stop issuing the warnings but will function properly
after
that.
The files are in these paths:
Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX 2004\Configuration\Commands).
Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\Configuration\Commands).
Delete the Files and you will be fine(Works for CS2,3 also)
