I'm trying to create a pen writing animation, a sort of text writing animation, that makes it look like I'm actually scribbling down on a soiled piece of paper with a black marker. The main problem is of course, that it's very difficult to make this look at least somewhat realistic. The computer animation graphics are always obvious, and I'm trying to figure out a clever way to disguise that. Perhaps something with brightness or hue....? Any ideas? It would be very helpful to me.
