Hi, guys. I'm using Dreamweaver MX 2004, just generating static html content, and I'm having the following issue while using templates:I have a main template for the entire site. It defines the default format, and on the left side has a menu for navigating to the major regions of the site. Also on the left side is an editable region ("menu" in which I plan to put department-specific link menus.
So, I make a nested template ("department" derived from the main template, and I put the appropriate department-specific menu code in the "menu" editable region. I want this menu to show up in <u>all</u> pages in that department, and I don't want my content managers to be able to edit the menu or add anything else to that region. Is there any way I can lock that editable region in all pages that inherit from the "department" template?
Thanks!

Nevermind. I got it. The help file for nested templates wasn't too great, but it pointed me in the rigth direction. I finally looked at www.oreilly.com/catalog/drmweavmxtmm/chapter/ch18.pdf , which gave me the exact right answer in the tip at the top of page 556. Finally, I can move on!
