sorry to be a bother, i am at the beginning of learning dreamweaver and have come across a major problem (for me). i am in the middle of a tutorial (seybolds complete course) and everytime i go in and click export on css styles pop up menu and go to write the file name in the file box, i keep getting the message - dreamweaver could not save c:\dwcc\dwcc\html\training.html because it is locked.
how do i unlock this? i am trying everything but dont really know what im doing, your help would be much appreciated.

my guess is it's a read-only file, you can check this yourself by finding the particular file, right clicking on it and choosing properties.

ususally in these scenarios it's best to save the file to one of your own names. for example 'my_training.html'

i have actually unchecked the read only boxes on every stage right back to the root folder and it is still locked, do you have any other suggestions.

try saving it as a different file name, it may be locked to stop you screwing the course files up.
