Hi
Ive noticed some sites of late dont actually link to "../about/pagtename.htm" from the sites navigation.
Instead they just link to the directory "../contact/", "../about/" etc.
"../about" obviously has a index.htm within, But my question is...when setting up relative links like these how do you get them to work localy? ie: when working within the Dreamweaver environment and previewing pages? I have found that If I link to a location without specifying a html file, the link will open up windows explorer view of the directory and not view the index.htm within.
Once the site is "up" this isnt an issue. I just wanted to know how i can test links locally.
