I realize this is my second post with the same topic, but I put the topic in the wrong location on the first go-around.

I found this tutorial dmxzone.com/showDetail.asp?TypeId=2&NewsId=3861&LinkFile=page1.htm extremely helpful in my pursuit to learn how to use dynamic text in Flash. I successfully created the document, and the Previewed Movie works perfectly. But then when I tried to import the .swf into Dreamweaver, the text was nowhere to be found.

I've hunted all over for tutorials on this subject, but I can't seem to find anything. If someone could either give me instructions, or direct me to a tutorial to resolve this issue, I'd be forever grateful.

Also, I'm using MX 2004.

i know you wrote this a while ago, but did you ever find a solution?
i am trying to accomplish the same thing. i have dynamic text loading into an .swf from a .txt file.
when i place it into dreamweaver - it works fine testing the file from my local machine, but when i upload the files to the server i get the big goose egg for text as well. it just isn't there. i know it's pulling the file in correctly because a grayed out scrollbar will appear. any help if you have any. if not i hope you find some.
