Hi, i am building a cms where the user can insert the email address, i am using the Dreamweaver insert record feature and i wish to insert the 1 record from my page into two bit of my database (app_email and app_emaildisplay) the reason i am wishing todo this is because for some reason when i apply the email rs bit to itself for its Mailto bit it does not display, hope this makes sence

are u storing the email address in a memo field ? that would explain why u cant call it twice

Thx. i was the field value it was not memo it was set as a hyperlink, so changed it to text and it all works 100% now cheers.
