Hello everyone,I recently started using Dreamweaver 2004 MX and am liking it so far. I have noticed a few things that I'm not sure about yet. One of them being how in the code it will underline errors such as "Netscape will not recognize this table background". I am then given the option to ignore the error but I can't find anything that will give me the proper code so that the error will be fixed and work in both IE and netscape. I would think since Dreamweaver now has the capability to tell me the errors it would also give me an optional "auto correct type fix". Am I simply missing something or must I go research every error I run into which would be good learning but at the same time could take quite awhile.
Thanks in advance for your replies/suggestions.
Mark

Hi Mark,
Yeah that would be nice eh? Trouble is that there are a number of ways that could fix a problem - hte <i>could</i> be auto corrected to 'the' but equally I might need it to correct to 'them' or 'he'. The other option would be to simply remove the offending code - but both solutions could quite easily break whatever you were doing.
Besides you enjoy the challenge of solving the problems - that's why you're in this game and not an accountant <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks for the reply Simon and "ha" you know me already. Unfortunately when it comes to web design, graphics, flash etc. I'm the perfectionist type which does help me solve alot of problems but also makes me spend alot of time doing research when I could be making more $$$.
Anyways..thanks again and see ya around!
