Hi I'm having problems importing fireworks HTML into my page. It looks like none of the slices are copying over or they cant be found. These are the steps I followed.
First created the rollover buttons in fireworks. Each text element of the image is an individual button, as depicted...
<img src="img277.echo.cx/img277/3724/fireworkspic4yn.jpg" border=0>
Then I exported the image with slices, saving as HTML and images
Then selected where I wanted it to go in dreamweaver. Did insert --> image objects --> fireworks html.
Located the htm fireworks file, and was then prompted 'some referenced files are outside of the root..........copy these files to site?' which I clicked okay. Then got prompted again, saying 'some files being copied already exist........do you want to replace the existing files?' which I clicked okay for as well.
The result is shown below
<img src="img275.echo.cx/img275/9701/dreamweaverprob7mv.jpg" border=0>
and the result from the browser preview
<img src="img275.echo.cx/img275/1443/dreameaverwebprob0ip.jpg" border=0>
as you can see none of my slices are showing up in dreamweaver
Might anyone know how to fix this or what might be the problem? I have followed a tutorial on how to do it, and this was the result.
Thanks,

Hello there. Well, let me tell you what I do and maybe it will help you.
Basically, from FW, I click the "Quick Export" button and select "Dreamweaver - Export HTML..."
Then I save the files in a folder inside the root of the website I'm working on. After exporting then I exactly the same as you did but I haven't had any kind of troubles importing my fireworks images. You may want to select the "Put images in subfolder" when exporting from Fireworks.
Hope this will help you in anyway.

Minor.
