Are you using Apache or IIS? ASP or PHP? DW MX/MX2004?

Could be a permission issue; you may have not granted the correct privelages. By default the SELECT privelage should be allowed, DW uses this to read teh tables/columns, etc.

About 30 seconds of Google'ing, and I found these, not sure which are best for you, so give them all a skim:
www.codecomments.com/Visual_Basic_Deployment/message441304.html
www.webwizguide.info/asp/faq/access_database_faq.asp
www.prd-software.com.au/prd/support/kb/kbarticle.asp?id=90
If neither of those work out for you, then just Google/search "MS Access setting permissions".
