Hi all,I know this may appear as an unsolvable problem, but this is my last chance...
I own a copy of Dreamweaver MX 2004, which I normally run on my notebook with XP Home. I had to return it to the customer service for a while and I switched back to my old notebook with Windows ME.
DW MX doesn't install on it, and in fact the system requirements shown in the manual don't include this OS, even if some internet reviews do that...
Is there any solution or trick, or am I forced to use an older version?
Thank you in advance,
Marco

Probably, unfortunately. Do you have a machine with Windows 2000 on it? Otherwise, you might want to look for a DW MX, or something open source like Jedit, or FCKeditor - just to work in code view for a while.

Thank you for the quick reply...
I'll have to borrow some desktop machines with different OS for this period... since I directly purchased the MX 2004 full version (not upgrade).
Thank you again,
Marco

Ouch. Well, maybe look at a site like versiontracker.com, and see if they list DW MX still up for download. Hope you get your machine back ASAP! <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
