Hello all, I have recently been told by a Level 3 Macromedia Sr. Tech support person that the outermost tables in DMX 2004 templates don’t lock and cannot be locked. He just found this out too it would seem as we have been working together on a couple of issues. This means that when you give someone a nested template to work on (or a child page of that template that they can “save as” they take it and put a table into the “body content” editable area to work in there and they can then stretch that table to any width they want, thus stretching your entire template in the process. The tech said html was not built to do this. I don’t want all css right now. Does anyone know of a work around for this? I am still trying to get head code problems figured out. Where to put php in the head so that it works but my page properties lock, which they have not been. The documentation on this topic is lacking insofar as far as being consistent and complete. One book says to place scripts (java) in between the head code that is added when you create a nested template, the green InstanceBeginEditable etc. but the tech is telling me to delete that. I can’t find anything exact about php. Any suggestions? Thanks, Shell
