Hi 2 little things I'm looking at,

1. I've protected pages so that users have to log on to access them, fine works a treat, but I have a download section, which again you need to log on to access, but if you say were given the url of the files, you could download them with out logging on, is there a way to stop that ?

2. I'd like a download counter so that I could see the most downloaded files, would it be a simple case of mysql_query() to run an update on the db is there an easier way.

cheers
