You don't have to install Visual Basic .NET 2003 or another application to build ASP.NET websites. You can even do it without an software enviroment. Dreamweaver MX2004 is quite good for building ASP.NET websites but sometimes I prefer to use Visual Basic .NET 2003 to set up the code. When the code it set up I open the pages in Dreamweaver and start to design them the way I want.

You can also use the Web Matrix project from www.asp.net to develop and test your webpages. The big advantage is that the Cassini Personal Web Server is included so you do not need to have an actual webserver.

I really hope the next version of Dreamweaver MX (2006?) will have much better coding support for ASP.NET. I've heard on some forms that MM will bring out the next version of Dreamweaver as a total solution and that people can buy 'packs' for e.g. ASP, ASP.NET, PHP. Looks for me the best solution!
