Is this possible? A colleague will be delivering a dvd to me and I have to put it online. What are the key things I should look at?

a) Not to exceed ____ file size of video
b) Possibly outsourcing the host for the video with a website that does that and link it from my page? (What companies are out there that host large files/music/video, etc?)
c) Is it simple to just drag it onto my page? Is there a script I should follow?.... like giving the option between WindowsMediaPlayer, Quicktime or RealOne?

Where should I start?

Thanks!!!

Totally depends how much bandwidth you want sucked up. Do you expect a lot of people to view it (adverstisement, etc.)?

Yes, there are quite a few firms, none are cheap. In the U.S.? Europe? other place?

Honestly, using Flash will increase the users who will see it without plugin issues. Using MediaPlayer you have Windows people (most versions), Quicktime is more abundant lately since iTunes is distributed with QT (Quicktime), as for RealOne - I wouldn't put much into that if you're shooting for ubiquity. I'd opt for Flash video over all three of those, otherwise you might have to offer all those three, resulting in more work and more testing.

Hope that answers a few points.
