can u change the cursor that flashes in a textfield?

u know the flashing '|' id like to change it to a green '>' for a certain form im building.

I hope we hear of something, this would be something cool. But I'm affraid we might be limited to OS limitations. Otherwise, maybe a input mask (JS) <i>onFocus</i> event. But that's me rambin'.
