Tables get shifted every time i use them ?

I'm newbie. I trying do website with dreamweaver but when i use tables. It's always get shift.
What i see in Dreamweaver design view is different with the publish preview. How can i fix these problems? Any suggestions or tutorials? Thank you,

Just to chime in...

I noticed that the bottom (copyright) table row <i>&lt;tr&gt;</i> has a height of 54, then 48 - so that might be a slight issue.

Also, since you have CSS styles for things like that <i>footer</i> table cell <i>&lt;td&gt;</i>, you don't really need to assign the height again in the HTML attribute. It'll just take up bytes.

As for me, with tables, I never liked giving them height attributes if it was all sliced images mainly. I've wrote some bullet points below of things you might want to keep a look out for in the page(s).

<ul><li>cellspacing & padding turned off (zero)?</li><li>empty table cells should have a non-breaking space - <b>&amp;nbs;</b></li><li>do you have table cell height/widths applied? (that you might or might not want)</li><li>any images have links (&lt;a&gt<img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> on them? (that you might or might not want)</li><li>if image <i>is</i> linked, do you have <i>border=0</i></li></ul>
