When trying to view my .asp page in Live Data Mode I get a "Method Not Allowed. The requested method post is not allowed" error. Is this a problem with the server or on my end. And also when ever I try to open the .asp page on the server it won't work. When I click on the link it asks me to Open, Save, or Cancel. I am new to this and am not sure what is wrong. Replies

Do you have a server running on your local machine,
and are your pages hosted on a windows server?

No the server is not running locally and is a Unix server. I do know that it will run .asp, because it was set up for asp over the weekend. I was reading other forums to see if other people were having this same issue and some suggested that the server wouldn't support the post method. But I really don't think that this is the case. What I am trying to accomplish exactly is a Dealer Locator. The user enters a zip code in then goes to the results page. My recordset is filtered correctly and pulling data from my Access Database. My connections should all be correct. The asp page with the form for them to enter in the zip works fine, but the results page is where all my issues come in.

sounds like its not letting you execute the results.asp page for some reason
This aint my strong point im affraid but to me it sounds like
a permissions problem not allowing to write the page.
All ive read on a google search for it was just problems with the form
not submitting to a asp page....
Im really not sure, i hope someone else here can help you get it sorted
Best of luck,<img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
