Hi EveryoneI am a real novice with ASP.net. I was wondering can we insert a new record and update an exisiting record on the same page based on a variable to signal if its an insert or an update.
thanks

Honestly, I wouldn't be suprised. I've only worked in .NET a couple of times but it's always been cool seeing how less we code than regular ASP was.
Here's a couple Premium Articles on DMXzone that you might want under your belt. I'm not sure how novice your .NET is, so please check out the sample page/summary and see if they'll work for you.
<ul><li>ASP to ASP.NET: The lifetime of an ASP.Net page - www.dmxzone.com/showDetail.asp?TypeId=28&NewsId=5049</li><li>ASP to ASP.NET: The mindset change - www.dmxzone.com/showDetail.asp?TypeId=28&NewsId=4997</li></ul>
Also, as always, there's is www.ASP.net & www.Macromedia.com/DevNet/ with .NET articles there too.
