I am new to this, so the question may seem obvious to some.

What is the default page size when creating a new HTML, Coldfusion, PHP, etc.

How do you control page size to fit a background picture?

Example: Say the page is 800x600 and the image is 1024x768

I have already clicked on the drop down menu at the bottom right corner of the workspace. All sizes are blanked out and I am stuck with 770x405.

Technically, there is no default page sizes when it comes to the web/DW. Your page is what you make it (wide, tall, etc).

CSS is your answer, but if you are trying to show the whole image then it shouldn't be a background-image, otherwise it'll get cut off or something.

You might want to uninstall/reinstall DW if these are coming up blank, sounds wierd. <b>NOTE: DW MX2004 - remember to "unactivate" BEFORE uninstalling!</b> Otherwise Macromedia will not like you, or something like that.
